Klub Nico Shoe Advice

  • Problem:
  • My white patent pumps are scuffed.
  • Solution:
  • Dab a little nail polish remover on a Q-tip.  Gently rub the Q-tip on the scuff.  Nail polish remover won't hurt patent leather.

  • Problem:
  • There is a black mark on the heel of my satin peep toe pump.
  • Solution:
  • My favorite invention of all times is the Tide Pen To Go.  Not only is this product good for touch ups if you spill something on an outfit, but it is also great at getting marks off of satin.  All you do is rub the pen on the mark and it instantly removes it.  If you do not have a Tide Pen To Go you can also dilute a little laundry detergent with water and apply to the marking.

  • Problem:
  • I have a pair of leather heels which I adore.  Only one problem, the leather is rubbing against my baby toe.
  • Solution:
  • Take a wax candle at room temperature and gently roll the wax on the problem area.  This will protect your feet and toes until the leather is broken in.

  • Problem:
  • I'm not quite a size 6, but I'm not quite a size 7.  I prefer a size 7 over the 6.  What do I do to make up for the extra space?
  • Solution:
  • Foot petals are great at fixing this problem.  It's just a squishy pad that can be inserted at the ball of the shoe, middle of the shoe, or heel of the shoe.  By placing a foot petal in your shoe it compensates for the tiny extra space.  Dr. Scholls foot pads work just as well.  Even if your shoe fits perfectly, inserting foot petals can make wearing your favorite stilettos enjoyable.  Now sold on www.ShopKlubNico.com
